A Busy Summer at HRI

The third quarter was a busy one at Hampford Research!  Here’s a recap of our most important activity:

• We attended the American Chemical Society Fall meeting and the LOUPE trade show (international label and packaging printing). Both were held in Chicago
• Stratford Mayor David Chess visited our facility
• Strategic planning sessions for our management team were in July and September
• Our food truck journey continued with Big Green Pizza Truck, Supreme Poutine, Lasses and Alebrijes Taco Truck.
• The Hampford team constructed over 100 pieces of durable medical equipment (transition benches, shower seats and overbed tables) for Wheel It Forward, a local “lending library” of durable medical equipment.
• Several departments had training in Q3 including Confined Space and HAZWOPER training for Operations and instrumental training (GC and HPLC) in the QC lab
• 15-year veteran, Tim Grant, was promoted to Plant Manager
• Six employees celebrated work anniversaries including Vinny Nichols (42 years), Paul Goncalves (11 years), Pilar Morales (7 years), Lloyd Lirio (6 years), Shay Nowak (2 years) and Roman Salij (2 years).  Congratulations to them all!
