HRI Attends BRBC Luncheon

Hampford Research was honored to attend the Bridgeport Regional Business Council Annual Luncheon, held last week in Connecticut. The meeting brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, elected officials, and community members in a vibrant celebration of the region’s economic potential.

Hosted at Sacred Heart University, and sponsored by M&T Bank the luncheon served as a platform for networking, idea exchange, and building of strategic partnerships.  Key note speaker, Paul Lavoie, Connecticut’s Chief Manufacturing Officer, showcased the breadth and depth of Connecticut’s manufacturing sector and the wide  variety of programs supporting manufacturing available at the state level.  In addition, the event also celebrated our leadership development program’s latest cohort, Class 34, as they graduated from Leadership Greater Bridgeport.

In addition to the speakers, BRBC President Dan Onofrio was proud to present the latest edition of  the BRBC’s Regions Magazine, featuring highlights of economic activity in the greater Bridgeport area including Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Fairfield and Monroe as well as a closer look at a cross section of manufacturers in our region.

With well over 300 in attendance, the event was a worthwhile way for the Hampford team to catchup with current vendors and service providers and meet some new potential partners.
